Experience our authentically Alaskan appointed lodge on Homer's hillside overlooking Kachemak Bay and 5 glaciers. Situated in a quiet fireweed field only a few miles from Homer, a peaceful stay awaits you. Marvel at our 8000 square foot red cedar log lodge, relax in our 8 person hot tub while taking in the vistas of ice blue glaciers hovering over Kachemak Bay, soaring eagles, tree munching moose, our little local family of pheasants scattering through the field, just a few of our local wild life. The main floor has 5 rooms all which have a queen size bed and a long twin bed. A private full bath and private outside entrance from the wrap around deck where the hot tub is located. Guests have full use of the large kitchen which is stocked with all your breakfast goodies! Fresh homemade rolls and breads, fruits, juices cereals, eggs and reindeer sausage! The kitchen also has plenty of condiments for your dinners if you choose to dine in. The BBQ grill is located on deck. The lower level has the same view with 2 fully furnished suites, 3 and 2 bedroom units, equipted with kitchens, livingrooms and baths. The sauna is located on this level. The Sportmen's Lodge is located a 15min. drive to the harbor where you will meet your boat!
